The awards scheme takes into consideration the major variety of genres of music in Ghana and in EUROPE, including Afrobeats, Afropop, Gospel , Highlife, Hiplife, Hip Hop, Reggae and Dancehall , are all nominated for various award categories which is under the supervision of a GHANA and EUROPE based private account and management consultancy firm.

In total 30 individual awards and recognition are awarded on the night.

The night’s 'Biggest Award' ARTISTE OF THE YEAR, has all the top gang of talents whose music and works generated a lot of excitement and controversy during the year under review, with their respective followers battling it out on various social media sites.

Winners of the Awards are determined by the votes from the Board, the Academy and the Public via SMS texting on various telecommunication platforms, both home and abroad. to choose their winners in their respective categories. Patrons can vote through our Mobile App which is a huge addition to the scheme.
